Experience our Stables Eco-Bothies: Where Sustainability Meets Comfort

Our Stables Eco-Bothies offer you an intimate connection with nature without compromising on warmth and convenience. Each of the two bothies measures 3 x 3.5m, ensuring a snug yet functional space for your stay. Sustainably insulated with wood fibre, and clad with FSC/PEFC softwood and OSB3, these retreats retain heat and provide a soothing ambience.

While the sloping concrete floors have been replaced with tiled flooring – don’t forget your slippers – we’ve honoured our commitment to sustainability by repurposing 50% of the tiles left by the previous owner.

Facilities & Essentials: Simple Comforts

Warm yourself by the cosy log burner, providing efficient heating for those chillier days and evenings. A  Each bothy comfortably accommodates three people, featuring a versatile triple bunk bed (double and single), along with a table and chairs for dining and games. If you’re a larger group, there’s room for an extra bed if you wish to bring one. Just remember to bring your own bedding to personalise your experience.

Lighting in the Stables Eco-Bothies is provided by an eco-conscious 12V solar-powered battery system, including individual reading lights for the bunks, convenient USB sockets for charging, as well as curtain and coat hooks for added privacy and practicality.

Although cooking is designed to be an alfresco experience in the undercover cooking area – bring your camping stove and culinary creativity – we invite you to join us for a wholesome breakfast or a delightful evening meal at our B&B (please book the night before required).
